About Enable for Life
At Enable for Life, we are dedicated to giving vulnerable girls in India a brighter future. We provide them with a safe home and access to schooling and education. This enables them to break free from poverty and create a better life for themselves and their families. Our efforts make a tangible difference in the girls' lives, and we believe that education is the key to lasting change.
Mission
We provide the girls with loving care and education, ensuring they thrive and develop.
Vision
We prepare the girls for an active life by providing them with a good upbringing and access to quality education. The girls experience that they are capable and that they have the right to pursue their dreams.
Values
We give the girls the opportunity to be curious about themselves, each other, and the world around them. We create space for each child, without it being at the expense of the community. We provide access to knowledge and self-expression.
Goal
Financial Foundation
Enable is an independent, sponsor-funded charity organization with approximately 450 members from 7 different countries.
Enable's financial foundation is mainly based on contributions from major sponsors and large individual donations. In addition, Enable receives help in the form of membership fees and gifts.
100 percent of the funds received by Enable go directly to the children, as administrative expenses are covered through other means – including volunteer efforts and tips, among others.
The accounts are prepared by certified public accountant Marian Fruergaard from Nielsen & Christensen Certified Public Accounting Firm.
Partners
The operations of PI are managed by St. Joseph’s Development Trust, led by Brother Sebastian (FSC., MBA., M.A. (Rural Development), Executive Director).
